Make a Wooden Paddle

Whether you are out on an expedition and have lost or damaged a paddle, or would just like the thrill and satisfaction of making your own paddle, this is an invaluable skill for paddlers to know. Mastering the Bow Drill

Axe Throwing

Axe throwing is surprisingly addictive and easy to pick up, come a long and try you hand at this great fun outdoors pastime. You may even decide to enter the Axe throwing contest to win a Gränsfors Bruk throwing axe at The Bushcraft Show.

The Art of Tracking Humans

with The National Tracking School

Head out with Perry and learn skills and tips for tracking humans, with some amazing secrets from his 40 years experience of police, anti-poaching, urban, rural and wildlife tracking. Literally, follow in his footsteps and enjoy this interactive human tracking session based on real life experiences, and, as always with Perry expect a few surprises.

Animal Tracking

Tracking animals can be great fun, learn with Perry in a safe, friendly and informative manner as he shares with you his experience of animal dirt time gained around the world. These interactive group exercises are designed to improve your natural tracking skills enabling you to get close to your quarry to observe and photograph it.

Derbyshire by Horse

This is a great ‘hack out’ which takes you through some beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The ride goes over varied terrain and provides several opportunities to canter (more nervous riders can remain at a trot if they prefer. You will be taken to the stables where you will be matched to the correct size horse/ pony and depart on your ride. (8 places per session)

Take part in a Stone Age dig

Have a go at Stone Age archaeology. Try your hand at digging up some replica Stone Age artefacts, wash them off and work out what they are. Air Rifle Hunting Session

Whether in a survival situation, to provide quarry for your bushcraft weekends or projects or as a means of sustainability, hunting with an air rifle can be a great way to quickly, legally and safely hunt for meat. This session will teach you all you need to know to hunt with an air rifle from the legalities to camouflage and concealment.

Forge your own knife

with Gränsfors Bruk

Forge with a Master Smith from Gränsfors Bruk under their instruction for an out of this world experience. You can make your own Viking neck-knife branded with you own initials to treasure for a lifetime. Leather neck sheath with neck cord included.
